Zigzag necklace

This will be a short DIY because we have already made this necklace pattern before.

Here is an article below that explains how to make the pattern in details

Pink&Cream Beaded Necklace DIY

Important Points On The Zigzag Necklace

  • The thread we are using is extremely hard it shouldn’t be elastic or anything soft because we want the zigzag shape of the necklace to be maintained at all times
  • The zigzag shape is formed upon getting to the third cluster which has the green bead
  • The photos you will see you will notice I had put the zigzag shape on each fourth cluster which I later on changed to the third cluster which looked better.
  • If the first zigzag shape starts with the green bead at the bottom the next zigzag shape will have the green bead being at the top then the next at the bottom and you should keep that going.

Materials Used To Make The Zigzag Necklace

  • Black beads and green beads
  • Hard plastic thread
  • One hook
  • A pair of scissors

Put a hook through the thread. The threads will split into two And add two beads in each thread to form the cluster below

Zigzag necklace cluster 1

That was the first cluster add two more the total will be 3patterns (clusters).

On the third pattern the two threads should meet on the sides and not at the centre like we have always done The photo below

Sideways threads

On each thread add two beads like the photo below

2 beads each thread

Take the thread with only two black beads and pass it through the green bead and black bead to form the shape below
