Jewelry

Today we are going to make a necklace set that is special to me because it was my first ever necklace pattern to make and I was really scared at first because I thought pattern jewelry were hard to make.

Back then it took me a whoooole day to make the necklace only. Then the next day I made the bracelet, earrings and a ring.
We are using the following today
  • Pink beads(medium size)
  • Cream beads(medium size)
  • Elastic string
  • One hook for the necklace
  • A pair of scissors

Class begins

Cut a long elastic string because pattern jewelry consume alot of string.
As usual put the string in the hook and tie a knot that will divide the string into two like the image below

Tie a knot image
Our pattern will consist of 4beads the entire time
Put 2 beads on the right and left string like the image below

Beads image

Take the right string put it through the two beads in the left string to form the shape in the image below

More beads

Keep moving the right string through the beads till it meets with the left string at the centre check the image below

More beads 11
That’s cluster one, if you have noticed we did not touch the left string but you can choose to work with either don’t limit yourself to the right string only.Repeat the same process till you have 5 clusters like the image below

Necklace 5 clusters image

Let’s add 3 pink beads like image below

Pink beads
In that image our three beads are in the left string so let’s use that same left string and put it through the first bead only check image below

Beads connect

Triangle shape necklace image

A triangle is formed, put the right string in the same bead that has the left string,so the two strings will overlap each other and the triangle will be upside down check the image below

Overlapping beads image

The right and left string should be ran through the remaining  beads hence they meet at the centre like the image below

Our cluster beads image

The triangle should be upside down so that the next cluster maintains its shape.

Repeating Step 1 (images)

After the pink triangle the strings are still divided into two

Put two beads in each string, run the right string through the beads in the left string continue running the right string even in the beads in the right string (its a circular movement)until the right string meets the left string at the middle all the images are down below

Repeat all these to make the necklace of your choice.

Beautiful necklace image

Bracelet

We begin with a cluster that has no hook because I don’t put hooks in my bracelets check the image below

Cream beads
So following the same necklace pattern I made it here check the photo below

Cream and pink beads
I made five clusters( each has four beads)then I put the triangle after which i counted five more clusters then I joined my bracelet. The bracelet is shorter than the necklace.

Bracelet

Earrings

Earrings design will be different, because I want them to be light in weight to the ear.
Below are 5 beads in a short elastic string

Earrings beads

Take the right string put it through the beads in the left string like the image below.

Earrings 3

Earrings
Where you left the left string will be the centre point so the right string will move all the way to meet the left string in the middle like the image below

Earring 4

Its time to put the hook

A pair of earrings

Description of the necklace

It portrays elegance, and I find it breath taking and calm at the same time, this is the piece of jewelry you should wear on days you want to portray class. Believe me when I tell you,it would never go unnoticed because the two colours are bright enough no matter the colour of your outfit.

The outfit to pair with this should be a multiple colour outfit or better an outfit with patterns of multiple colours.
