We are going to make these necklaces

They are very simple to make below are the beads and tools we shall use

A pair of scissors
Maasai beads
Black beads
Elastic string
Hook

Cut a long elastic string divide it into 4 strings and then put a hook
Check photo below

Then tie a knot just to ensure the string remains attached to the hook

Combine the four strings together into one string add 37 black beads. Check photo below

Then split each string and add 45 maasai beads like in the photo below

Once you are done with the maasai beads add 15 black beads then split the string again and on each string add maasai beads like in the photo below

Lastly add two beads then join the hook and  we now have our necklace. 

Description of the necklace

I love how this necklace is simple and classy at the same time.So at first it had the black beads which were a little bit dull but when we get to the midsection it brightens up (its like seeing that one spark of light while in the dark)the necklace can be worn in all occassions including going to work because its neither too bright nor too dark and it can be paired with clothes of all colours.

Reason: Black is a colour that is universal when it comes to grooming and the maasai beads are of multiple colours.

Jewelry Tutorial With Photos

The only difference between that necklace on my previous article and the necklace that we are about to make, is the added maasai beads.

However the pattern is the same so to avoid confusion ensure you access my previous article then proceed here to this article. 
If you have made it to this step after referring to my previous article lets add two maasai beads like the photo below

Then take the two strings add maasai beads and run them through the middle beads till the strings meet at the centre of the main middle bead at the bottom. Check two photos below

so we keep on repeating the same pattern till we have this

Now that’s  row 1 let’s  add row two
As usual take an elastic string that is as long as the necklace add three beads and join it with the bottom part of the necklace to form a row like the photo below

Then add one bead and join it to the next bead on that row see photo below

Then add 3 more beads on that string and put it through the opposite side of the bead to form this shape check photo below

Add a black bead again join it to the next bead like photo below

Put 3 black beads to the string and put the string in the opposite side like the photo below repeat that cycle to get this

Description of the necklace

I love how the maasai beads sparkle like little diamonds in between the black beads,and that is what draws the attention to you when you walk into the room.

The necklace is a choker that provides a sort of a beautiful collar and let’s not forget it’s stretchy so you don’t need to worry if it fits you or not.
