Beads Jewelry Making Tutorial 101

Today we are making beads necklace and earrings below:

There will be only step 1 and 2 which will be continuously repeated in order to form the necklace and earrings so pay attention class.

We will be using the materials below:

• • A pair of scissors

• • Nylon monofilament string

• • Plastic beads colour:cream small size and big size.
    The big cream bead I will be using it as a separator for the different parts of the necklace.

HOW TO MAKE THE NECKLACE STEP 1.
1. Choose the length of the string
2.Put the hook first and tie a knot to form two parts of the strings.
In the photo below you can see the hook has formed two parts of the string we have the right string and left string.

After the hook put the big size cream bead (separator) which has now joined both the left and right string.Check the photo below:

3.On the right string put 7 beads
4.On the left string put 7 beads. Check the photo below:

4.Then take the right string put it through the beads in the left string all round until the right string meets the left string at the centre eventually forming an oval shape like in the photo below.

5.Now we have an oval shape let’s put the big size cream bead to act as a separator between step 1 and step 2.
The right string and left string are now separate . The next step is step 2
6.Put 14 beads on the right string
7.Put 14 beads on the left string

8.Add the separator like the photo below:

9.Then repeat step 1 after that repeat step 2 until you make the right size of your necklace.

NECKLACE TIPS
The first step should be tight enough and have few beads in order to form the oval shape while the 2nd step should be loose and have many beads to form a laid back shape

HOW TO MAKE THE EARRINGS
We shall use a shorter string than the one we used to make the necklace
1.So in a short string put 14 beads like in the photo below:

2.Then take the right string put it through the beads in the left string all round till it meets with the left string at the centre (just like we did with the necklace)
Check the photo below:

3.Then add the big size cream bead to act as a separator just like in the necklace. Check photo below:

Now we have the right and left string
4.In each string put 4 beads.(step 2)

5.No separator(big size cream bead) is needed here just put your hook and your earring will look like the photo below

EARRINGS TIPS
The step 2 should have four or less beads in order for the earrings to be short .

THE OUTCOME

CONCLUSION
The jewelry can be paired with either white,cream or black clothes and it can be worn in most casual occasions.
How to take care of it
1.Avoid water since the hook can fade or rust easily.
2.Let it be it the last thing to wear as you groom and the first to remove when you are back home.
3.Store it in jewelry box.
